I have been watching some YouTube videos and I am too chicken at this point to actually make videos. Especially since I watch TTC, pregnancy and mom vlogs and I am not in any of these categories. However, I like a lot of these tag videos and I'd like to answer them and I don't think anyone really reads this anyway haha.

1.Will you find out the gender? Throughout my life, I've never wanted to find out the sex. Its not 100% and I wouldn't want to plan for one sex and have the other. However, when I met my husband I found out that he does want to find out the sex. He is not really willing to compromise on this and said oh he will find out and not tell me, but I couldn't have him know and me not. After deciding this but still being upset about it, I was looking at baby things. I noticed that everything is gender specific. So, we will be finding out the sex of the baby.

2. Will you use a pacifier / dummy? Yes, I don't see why not.

3. Do you have any nursery ideas? Yes and no. They keep changing bedding sets very often. I've been looking at baby bedding for a few years now and there are some that I loved when I first looked for baby bedding that they no longer have now. At this point, I'd probably look at something with a real theme for a boy and something that is just colors and patterns for a girl. I like the safari, elephant or turtle theme for a boy. I'd want something pink and green for a girl.

I'd like to have a chair rail in the nursery and two different colors in the room. One color above and a different color below. Or, I'd love to do wainscoting or the like if we have our own house.

4. Are you the first / middle / last of your friends to TTC? It will depend on when we start, but we will likely be the first. We don't really have many friends that are even married yet.

5. Will you get / use hand me downs? DH has a huge family with a few older cousins that are done having children. I saw one of them this passed weekend and she asked if we wanted her crib. So, I'm pretty sure we will get them and of course we will use them.

6. How close in age would you like your children? I'd like my kids 2-4 years apart. I will probably not start trying for the next baby until the first one is 2. I'd prefer to only have one in diapers at a time.

7. Will you make your own baby food? I will likely do this. When I found out how easy and less expensive it is to do this, I was all about it.

8. Will you co-sleep? Not sure. We will likely not particularly because my husband and I move a lot in our sleep and we'd be petrified of rolling over onto the baby. Also, my husband is a big guy - 6'2" 250 - so that doesn't seem safe to me. I'm sure it will happen if I do breastfeed.

9. Will you use a stroller / pram? Yes. I'd also like to get a sling or wrap or another baby carrier.

10. Will you go back to work or stay at home? I will go back to work. I've always wanted to have a career outside of being a parent and I'd like to continue that.

11. How long would you leave your baby to cry before getting them? I really don't know. I'm sure I'll have to be in the situation before I can answer this question.

12. How often will you bath your child? I've heard you are supposed to bathe them every other day. I will likely just ask the doctor and do that recommendation.

13. Will you do extended rear facing car seat? I don't really know. I'll probably just leave them in their infant car seat until they don't fit in it anymore then change it to a normal car seat. I haven't looked into this.

14. Will you breastfeed? If so for how long? I never wanted to breastfeed, but my husband wants me to, so I will try it out. If it works out, my first goal will be for 6 months then 1 year. I wouldn't want to breastfeed for longer than that. I also wouldn't want to wean until I wouldn't have to supplement anymore. Also, since I will be working, I include bottle fed breastmilk as breastfeeding.

15. When will you introduce solids / baby food? Whenever you are supposed to. This is another thing I don't know anything about. I'm sure I'll talk to the doctor about this and will read baby books and such.

16. Do you want a boy / girl first? It doesn't really matter. If I had to pick, I guess a boy because it will be easier to stick to purchasing gender neutral basics. Also it will prevent me from going overboard with bows and the like.

17. Do you have any names picked out yet? Yes. I have a whole other blog post about this. Obviously none are set in stone. Our top girl names are Madeline, Victoria and Alexandra. Our top boy names are Jonathan, Ian and Griffin.

18. How many kids do you want? I want 3, my husband wants 4. I've agreed to try for a 4th is all three are the same gender. I'd prefer not to have an only child, but if it happens that way that is fine.

19. Will you homeschool? We haven't ruled it out, but we will likely not.

20. Home or hospital birth? I'm too paranoid to have a home birth even though right now we live five seconds from a hospital.

21. Planned / c-section / epidural or natural birth? I'm open to any of the above lol. We'll see what happens. I'm not opposed to any of these.

22. Will you drink whilst pregnant (the odd glass) ? Ahh, no... this is a weird question.

23. Will you cloth diaper / nappy or use disposables? I really want to cloth diaper. Not sure if we will from day one or not. I like the idea of saving money and not having to constantly buy diapers. I also like the idea of being able to use them for multiple children. We do have hard water, so that could be an issue. I wouldn't be opposed to using disposables when we go on vacation if we don't have access to a washer. Also, it will depend on if our caretaker agrees or not. They wouldn't have to wash the diapers, but you never know if they will agree or not.
