Going to Cali!!

My friend has a condo on the beach in San Diego. She has invited me to go a few times and I always said no. I was always too practical to agree to pay for a ticket or when I had a job, I didn't want to take off of work.

Now that law school is over, I'm worried she will move back to Arizona (where her parents live) and I'll never get to see her again. So, we are doing a girls trip to San Diego!!

I'm so excited. I haven't been on a girls trip in a while and they are always so much fun! I'm glad we decided to leave the boys at home.

My other friend and I booked our plane tickets today.

FYI: If you are wondering why I am spending this money when I complain about money, well I'm not really spending any extra money. Our accommodations are free and I'd be buying food anyway if I was here. Also, I called my granny today to ask if she still had the top of my cake in her freezer and she offered to help pay for my plane ticket. I didn't even ask her or even remotely suggest I wanted her help. My granny is awesome (and of course not just because of this) A week in Cali and just the cost of food, well I think I'd be a fool to pass that up! I've never been to California, let alone San Diego. I've never been farther west than San Antonio, Texas. Also, how much longer am I going to be able to do something like this? When I get a real job, I won't and once I have kids, I won't. Might as well do it now, when I still have the option!

I am excited!!
