About a month ago, I needed a formal dress to wear to Barrister's Ball. So, I went to my parents' house where all my old formal dresses are. I tried to put my bridesmaids dress on from my sister's wedding (3 years ago) and I couldn't get the skirt over my thighs!!
I went to my yearly appointment at the gyno on Monday and they weighed me. I weighed more than I have ever weighed in my life. 3 pounds more to be exact. I weigh over 20 pounds more than I weighed 4 years ago when FI and I started dating. That is a lot of weight on someone that is not even 5'1".
Today I went to pick up my dress from being altered. All it needed was the bustle and my detachable sleeves shortened. My sister had a hell of a time zipping it up. I was measured for the dress over a year ago and it was tight when I picked it up in December. I meant to lose some weight this last semester, but obviously I have gained weight. The tailor told me I should not wear my long line bra. I know it probably adds almost an inch, but my boobs never stay up on their own. I have a very low chest and I've never been able to go braless without looking like I'm an A when in reality I wear a D. I'm considering trying the dress with my regular strapless bra, but I didn't want to wear that one. I'm at such a loss to what to do.
FI and I went walking today. After, I took a shower than laid down. I didn't even blow dry my hair and I always blow dry my hair. I wound up sleeping for at least like 5 hours! I even missed my friend's (who is one of my bridesmaids) graduation party. I woke up and felt terrible. Both that I missed her party and that after such little exercise my body couldn't function.
I probably shouldn't have had Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I also probably shouldn't have had 3 (small) glasses of wine at the wedding we went to last night. I am putting myself on a tuna fish and fruit/vegetable diet starting tomorrow. Tonight I got a grilled chicken Caesar salad from McDonald's, which probably isn't good, but better than I usually eat. I'm also planning on just drinking water from now until the wedding. I will make the exception for the occasional coffee just because I know I will need it sometimes. I will also make the exception for my bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner, but besides that its going to be water! Hopefully that will help me lose at least a pound or two so I won't be such a fat bride.
I'm so upset that I will be a fat bride for my bridals though. My bridals are on Tuesday. There is no way I will be able to lose five pounds by then. I will see what happens though.
If you know of any crash diets that won't kill me, let me know. I would love to lose a little before Tuesday.
