Ticker & Suit

So if you haven't noticed, my ticker over there hasn't gone anywhere. I'm sure you hoped that I just haven't been updating it. The truth is, however, after that initial few ounces I lost, the Wii fit was telling me that I was gaining instead of losing ounces. It wasn't a happy thing. Then I went on vacation and haven't been back on the Wii Fit.

"Why, Brandi, oh why have you abandoned getting back into a size 4"

The truth is I haven't. I have still been trying to eat better, that hasn't gone so great, but it went well for a while. A while until I realized the Bar results were coming out and I freaked out. Since then I started eating worse food because I was craving it.

So the results are in and I passed and I'm still chunky lol.

I will go back to the Wii Fit.

I need structure in my life and a schedule and I haven't had that in a long time. That is another reason why I want a job it will force me to do more things with my free time. It will force me to have a schedule.

I have finally started with waking up earlier, yes this is a recent start, but a step in the right direction. I'm hoping this will lead to more steady eating habits and eventually starting to figure out how to grocery shop and cook more. The grocery requires money though and it seems like DH might be having some sort of a gig going on but until there is a check I'm not gonna believe it lol.

So anyway back to the topic at hand....

I passed the Bar but I'm still not back to pre-wedding body. What does this mean? All those cute suits I have (including the one I bought from the Limited luxe line last year for clinic) aren't the most flattering anymore (they are snug).

So, my Mom calls me the other day and tells me that she wants me to buy a new suit. She even said "A lawyer needs a suit." Luckily, they are going to foot the bill so my dwindling bank account won't suffer. She even mentioned that I might even need new practical shoes (the exciting part). The not so exciting part will be that I actually have to go shopping for a suit. Don't get me wrong, I love suits, but I'm still not comfortable with these larger numbers on the little tag by the collar. But, I have to be practical and if my hips require an 8 (and probably some major hemming) then that is what they will get.

I can hope though that the suit will help me get a real lawyer job and I'll be so busy I'll forget to eat and have to get the suit taken in. So though it might say 6 or 8 it will really be a 2 or 4. Oh dreams...

Who am I kidding? I am 25 and although I will try to eat sensibly, I can't live without some sweets, so that 2 is never going to happen, but I can shot for that 4, I think it is still practical.

So any-who, wish me luck finding a suit!
