I might not have mentioned, but my cousin called me when we got back from our cruise in August and told me she was pregnant and I was going to be an Aunt!!
Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this before on here, but my family has an utter void of babies. Also, we kind of have a void of people lol. I only have one first cousin and she is younger than me and not married.
My Mom is an only child. One of my Mom's first cousin's lives across the street from my parents. So my cousin Angel grew up across the street from me. She is my Mom's goddaughter. Angel is an only child and the same age as my sister (who is married but not ready for kids yet).
Angel got married in March 2005. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, the first time I was married - so exciting! She was a bridesmaid in mine and really took the lead in planning most of the pre-wedding events. So, all of this to say that yes, I'm an Aunt even though it says my cousin's baby.
Jude August came into this world Friday night well really Saturday morning. He was a few weeks early with a due date of April 26th and a birth date of April 9.
I'm so exited and happy to be an Aunt!
