Dress Came In....Wrong!

So I got that call on Monday.

First, they said that they thought that the detachable straps I ordered had come in as attached. Later on I found out that the strapless dress with detachable straps I ordered came in as a dress with sleeves complete with arm holes.

Now I have to go back there and get measured for the sleeves.

This makes me wonder why they didn't measure me for the sleeves while I was there for my hollow to hem in the first place. It makes me think that they aren't used to custom orders and expect people to just buy the dress as they see it. I guess it serves me right for going with the least expensive place and trying to customize it. Oh well, at least they can get the correct dress in, unlike the 2nd most inexpensive place.

Things seem to be going array with this wedding and it is making me nervous that it will all fall apart in the end. Maybe my sister had the right idea about not caring or worrying about every little detail.
