So, the Sunday after graduation, my computer comes up with a message saying that my hard disk drive failure is imminent and I should save everything or it will be lost.
Great.
Luckily, I did get the extended warranty for my computer and the computer is still under that warranty, so at least Sony got to arrange everything instead of me having too.
Last Thursday, the guy came to my house, but the hard disk drive they sent him was literally too big to fit in my computer. He then came back yesterday to install my new drive. I was very sad though because I could not keep my old drive. Apparently Sony would charge him for it if he doesn't send it back in a few days.
I did back up everything important on my external hard drive so I thought I was okay. Then I was trying to load things onto my new hard drive and the flip videos would not play! I thought I had saved it incorrectly somehow. I was so upset, I went into the bedroom and cried. Jonathan eventually found me and said that he thought there was a special thing I needed to download in order for the drive to play. I definitely did not remember thought, so I went to the computer and at first couldn't find anything, then I did and luckily I installed it and it played.
For some strange reason, I didn't save the digital wedding pictures on the external hard drive, I have no idea why! So, I'm going to have to reload them on my computer then try to save them on the external drive. I know that will be a PIA because the files are rather large and there are a lot of them so it will take forever!
So, long story short, I have been MIA lately because my computer was out of commission.
I really miss my old computer (well the hard disk drive)!
Oh and my Gamma who was recently diagnosed with cancer had her surgery yesterday (Wednesday) and is doing as well as can be expected.

Glad to hear your grandma is doing okay!
Mark's computer had a meltdown a few months ago so I know how tense that can be. We got it working just long enough to get some important stuff to an external hard drive, but we were sweatin' it. It's crazy how quickly we've become attached to computers!
